did the gorgeous line art for the Ultimate Jedi, and I just had to see what I could do with it if I colored it.

Done in Adobe Photoshop CS.

Alas, the drawing was not mine, but done by a very skilled artist friend here. I just did the coloring. ;)

Wow...kinda hard to simplify. O_o I scan my pencil sketch, upload it into Photoshop and then use my tablet pen and the program's paint tools to color it in. After that they have various filters you can apply for different effects and things. :)

Very nicely done =) I would –almost- kill to be able to colour muscles like that

Thanks very much! :D

Doge and Burn are two of my favorite tools in Photoshop...they definitely help quite a bit for shading and highlighting muscles! After that I did a new layer where I took a very light shade of the color of the lightsaber next to the muscles and dimmed the concentration down to something like 17% with an airbrush to create the color highlights. :)

Sweet! I 'fake' dodge and burn by dialing down the colour of the flesh. Same idea ^^

Yuppers! We all do what works best for our style. :) My hubbie has been bugging me to learn to work in layers, so I am finally trying some new techniques out.
